There are no degrees outside.
I got my hair cut this afternoon (shorter! I love it more than I have loved any haircut I have ever gotten! but it is kind of counterintuitive to cut off all your damn hair when it is below zero with belower-zero windchills!)  and between walking from there to here I wanted to start crying.

It sounds like the downstairs neighbors are having band practice in their living room. The bass is rattling our walls. FUCK OFF.

Marina is going down there to talk to them. She has to go to school at 9 am.

Okay, it's not band practice. 'Cause now it's the Shins. And it's super, super fucking loud. Who the fuck listens to the Shins cranked all the way up? They aren't really that kind of band. At all.

I think maybe that someone who lives there is playing bass along with the music though.

THEY TOOK MY FUCKING SHITTY ASS GROCERY STORE AWAY

Luckily I still have the badass produce store down the street so I'll go pick up some veggies and find something to make for dinner.

I'm sort of amazed at how well I've done with the cold. I mean, it sucks (mainly the wind more than anything) but I don't hate the cold. I do, however, hate snow/slush/ice. I could deal with the cold if there was always sunshine and no snow ever.

But I am missing the 70 degree Florida winters.
