Isn't Treasure Island supposed to be taking it over?  How long is it going to take them to get that going?  TI is pretty good, you'll have some good stuff available there.

Anne, under NZ law if your employer makes a mistake with you pay, they have three working days after this is brought to their attention to fix it and pay you the correct amount. Remind your employer of this, and of the existence of the Labour Inspector and the Employment Court.

So using thumbtacks to hold your shower curtain against the wall and keep it from billowing up and sticking to your legs would seem like a good idea.  The problem with that is that you have a friend who visits sometimes who wears glasses and can't see in the shower and will proceed to step on one of the thumbtacks when they fall out, which they will.  My foot fuckin' hurts.

Kind of expensive I guess, but not much worse than Jewel or Dominick's, and not nearly as bad as Whole Foods.  I've only been there a couple of times, and only to the Old Town location, so I don't really know how they are overall, but I know some people who are pretty excited to have them moving in to Hyde Park.

I kind of want some fancy cheese so maybe I'll run up there at lunchtime.

We went shopping at Publix last night and weren't really that happy about it.  At first it seemed like a nice change from shopping at Kroger all the time, but we didn't buy any cereal cos it was like 4 bucks a box and there was some other stuff they just didn't have.  And it was expensive.

I wish we did have a Whole Foods or Trader Joe's closer to us, but we can walk to the Kroger, so I'll keep shopping there.  Though next time I plan on putting together a really nice meal, I'm def gonna hit up the WF man.  Their prepared dishes look freakin delicious.

i somehow miscalculated the number of pills i had left and will now have to miss two doses of my main medication before i can get a refill. previous experience tells me that whenever i forget a dose, i get a headache, feel dizzy, and usually have an upset stomach. which makes sense, since what's happening whenever i miss a dose is that my blood pressure is skyrocketing. and that's when i miss one dose. i'm gonna have to miss TWO doses. i'm terrified of how bad i will feel by the time i can get a refill of my prescription. gahh.

I talked to the woman in charge about it. I get paid every Thursday, she said something about the wages going from Monday to Sunday, so I'd get less in the first week cos I starte Thursday. I dunno, it confused me. If I'm not paid right this Thursday I'll ring up again and be annoyed-er.

On the bright side, my boss has stopped being such a cock, and I'm going on holiday the day after tomorrow! I just better have money to spend on holiday. And I'm annoyed that my friends are hanging out watching movies and getting stoned on the weekend and I won't be there.

Agreed. I'd talk to your pharmacist first, if you haven't yet, and explain the urgency and ask if there's any way they can help you out. Sometimes they can do things even if it's an insurance coverage issue. If not, I'd call your doctor and ask, since sometimes they have samples of meds and can spot you a few. I would think/hope someone in there would find a way to make it work... Good luck, and I'm sorry, that sounds like a huge pain.
