plus, do the fitness test and try to get lower than 45, it's impossible.

Oh!  Agreed that it's not a real fitness test. 

It's more of a hand-eye coordination test.

The trick to bowling is being able to curve the ball.

yeah, it's not anywhere near a real fitness test, but i've seen eric and kyle get 21 plenty of times. in fact, at their house, if you get above a 30 it's a crushing defeat.

bowling, for the record, is my favorite of the wii sports games. all you really have to do to master it is to figure out how you naturally curve the ball when you bowl, and then adapt your position and direction of throw to that curve.

now i have to go and do this test again.  are you guys smashing like ten home runs or what?

wii sports is actually kind of weak.  you should rent one of the full bowling games, it's way more fun.

yeah, i've seen eric get 8 home runs and kyle regularly gets to level 15 or higher on the bowling-splits thing. also, both of them can return 45 or more out of a possible 50 when doing the tennis returning-balls thing.

I generally 8+/10 the home runs and get a few "out of the parks".

The trick to tennis is using forehand and backhand.

while i love tennis, the one that gets the most 'ooooh', boxing, seems the most inaccurate and most terrible to me. tennis has all my love, boxing quite a bit less. other than what nintendo itself makes, the wii has a buncha shitty games like 'excite bike compute pursuit force 2102 rabbit'. i'm sorry to have to be the one to say it.

some game developers have actually apologized for the shittyness of their early release games for the wii, before it became a big phenomenon.  of all the new systems i think wii has the most potential, i.e. that head-tracking madness from the WCP thread.

and i agree wrtg wii boxing, my lady got all into it the first time, but then the second time she was just standing there pumping her fists.
