Winter can just go somewhere else, thank you very much. Going out to shovel snow after midnight sucks. Shoveling snow after midnight while it's freezing rain sucks even more. Seriously.

I had to help take a body to the morgue last night, as one of the two dudes who came to do the pick up had a broken arm.

However, the fancy headset they gave me does provide some manner of solace.

If it makes you all feel better, my furnace is on the fritz again so that coupled with worrying about waking up on time kept me up for most of the night.

Also, re: dad's wife:  Shocked

Also, apparently the habit with this crew is to leave their headsets on all the time which means that the entire crew is breathing in each other's ear the whole time.

Diesel,

If you're going to be up and about and working at this time of the day, we should make plans to hang out- online poker, maybe?  Aside from the Euros, LPtJ is usually so quiet until about lunchtime (Irish time), unless Jeb can't sleep or The Tourist is doing his nocturnal thing.  (We don't count the kiwis, obviously.)

In other news, it's a truly glorious day here- started off crazy misty, which was a pain on the bike this morning for us glasses-wearers, but since then the mist has gradually been burning off and there's real warmth in the sun.  It makes me want to skip work and lie in a park.

And I just won two tickets to see the Nils Økland Trio tonight!  Who's free?

I'm perfect for that- I'm loaded, useless at poker and terrible at bluffing.

Well, two out of three ain't bad.

Okay so lately I've been noticing these kids that wear tbogs that are fuzzy and have like animal features, fox ears, bear ears, eyes, etc. Many of them also wear these detachable tails that clip onto the back of their pants. Some of them also wear matching fuzzy gloves.

What the fuck is this. Someone tell me that I'm either experiencing like some sort of recurring and highly specific psychotic episode or this is entirely localized to OU and you've got no clue what I'm talking about. Cuz I'd hate to think of this as some sort of national trend. Are they like pseudo furries or something?

Oh - Ok.  Yeah, those are pseudo furries.  If they don't have the tails then they just have bad fashion sense, but as it is they're pseudo-furries.  They probably like anime (and paaaaain).  Essentially I think they are the new goths.

I am eating lunch.  I sneezed while eating a piece of food that I had put a substantial amount of habanero sauce on.  As a result, I currently have habanero sauce in my sinus cavity.

I feel like I am being surprisingly calm about this.

It was pretty bad for a few minutes, I admit.  There was much sniffling and nose-blowing and the like.  It didn't last too long though.  I think it's mostly out of there now.  I have a nasty tickle in my throat though and can't get rid of it, I keep coughing.  I just coughed while taking a drink and sent a water chaser up there after the habanero sauce.

Actually I feel kind of miserable but I don't think it's 'cause of the habanero sauce.

edit: haha, awesome Miles.  Did they pull the post that got you banned or is it still up for our enjoyment?
