Please forgive me. These are too cute.

This weekend we figured out that Munch likes to be sung to -- it calms him down and gets him used to our voices. Better yet, if he's resting on my stomach, often the song will inspire him to shimmy up and inspect my chin. The standard song goes, "Munch, Munch, Munch / Munch, Munch, Munch" (although sometimes I sing, "Munch is a mensch is a Munch is a mensch..." or "Munch eats lunch and goes 'crunch crunch"). You get the picture. So tonight I was on the computer, writing an email, when I hear Jacob call my name from the other room: "Come here! You won't regret it!" And indeed I didn't.

That's great, would have loved to have been there.

The MFA has a nice website to browse around for a bit, I discovered this rather impressive Charles Sheeler photograph there a couple of months ago:



Unfortunately I'm rather a noob when it comes to photography but I’m thinking about getting some nice photography books to introduce myself a bit.

So a few of us (SPACERACE, girl, WhereTheSlimeLives and I) hung out last night at my apartment before seeing the Gandalfs at the Mid East. We broke out some beer, the cat video and then the camera and attempted to take group shots using that good old just extend your arm method:
