It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is the funniest fucking show ever.

My buddy Jason's been really into that show, and he's had me watch a few episodes, and they were indeed really funny. Though not "funniest fucking show ever" by a longshot, sorry!

Yes it is. Want to talk about how good The Wire is some more?  Heart

I'm watching the first season of South Park. I used to have cable when this was on, so I've seen most of these episodes before, but they're really funny. Well worth revisiting.

You bastards with your cryptic teasers that I couldn't possibly guess what season you're spoiling until it's too late and now it's too late and I know you bastards.

I got season four the first day it came out on DVD, and my cousin is recording season five, but I decided I'd go back and start from the beginning. I'm doing the best I can in these trying times.  Smile

So for as cheesy as it is, Reaper is kind of entertaining, if only for Ray Wise as the devil. That guy's been gold ever since Twin Peaks.

I'll start posting all this in The Wire thread once I'm caught up with Season 5. Until then, I don't want any spoilers. I have to watch Ep6 & Ep7 and I'll be good to go.

Hey guys, in case anyone was wondering who was the "brains" behind Sex and the City, Lipstick Jungle makes Cashmere Mafia look like Shakespeare.  And Cashmere Mafia is one of the worst shows I've ever seen.

I did not know they made a tv movie, but he was in the recent Broadway revival of the play. I didn't go to see it.

ha, did you go see candace bushnell speak at notre dame our junior year.  i had to go for a creative writing class. she actually seemed like she was halfway intelligent - she had a journalistic career before she turned to 'novel' writing.  but at the end when she asked the crowd if they wanted to hear her read from her book, everybody in the crowd was like 'yeah' and the sophomore literary festival organizers and their faculty advisors were like 'no no no'.  her book sounded like it was written by a third grader.

also, can we start talking again about Lost people.  what's going on?  i thought tonight's episode was really well written.  it made ben seem like a bad ass.  well except for the photo the rescuers had of him.  i couldn't tell if it was bad casting, or good casting, but when they were showing the flashforwards of the rescuers, my first thought was how unlikeable they all seem.  like, i wouldn't even picture any of them as major characters on a network tv show, except for captain ron the pilot    personally i think they could have gone with these guys.

i'm sorry if the image is spoileriffic.  i'm sure most people will be like 'what the hell'.

dude I was totally at that, and had to go because of a Creative Writing class.  Who did you have?  I had the same impression of her "reading"

Also don't watch Lost, Carlton Cuse is hack scab fuck.  I'm going to be annoying and bring that up every time someone brings up Lost in this thread.

i gotta chance to watch dexter season 2 in its entirety. it's fair to say it's just as compelling as season 1, if not more. i was annoyed by its obsession with just a few 'locations'. it made it seem sort of sitcomy. it'd go from dexter's apartment, to the everglades cabin, to lily's apartment. i was also curious how i could get dexter's job, because apparently you can leave work anytime you want, and as often.

no, lily is the obsessed other woman. lily is the one who looks like she listens to peter murphy's holy smoke and has the degradation effect (starting out sexy and getting less and less the more you see her - sort of opposite the pam character in the usa vers of the office).
