I think I might be willing to put money on the idea that if I threw the blackberry as hard as I could against, say, my porch, the blackberry might actually shatter.  I mean, I'm going to do it regardless.  It's just a matter of when.

I was kind of into the idea that you could throw the blackberry against the Federal Reserve and our monetary system would crumble.

Yeah I remember going into a Verizon store probably 4 years ago and the guy trying to sell me on a blackberry by slamming it on the floor a bunch of times.  I kinda wanted one just for the effort but got a free razr instead.

Trying to decide if I should wait for the iPhone 4 to take its price drop and switch to ATT, or just get the HTC Incredible and stick with Verizon.

I remember there being a run of rugged ones for awhile, but I question the durability of Blackberries since mine was brought down by apparent pocket sweat.

For Verizon, the Droid X or Droid 2 or something is being announced on June 23rd; you might look into that!

is it good?  is that the one with ads?  I was debating between that and the official Scrabble one and some other ones, but they all seemed only so-so.

also, I am a bad Scrabble player, so I don't know if you want to play with me.

also, is brushes really fun?  worth the $5 or whatever?  I have only more or less useful apps at the moment--I'd like to add a couple of goofy fun things.

Surely that's something you are under warranty for, no?

It's apparently really widespread, and I'll likely be waiting a while for a replacement. But yeah. They'd better goddamn replace it.

Yeah.  Within ten seconds of having posted what I did, someone directly behind me started talking about how people are seeing yellow shits on their iPhones.

Apparently there's some speculation that it's the result of an incompletely evaporated bonding agent and may disappear with use, though: http://arstechnica.com/civis/viewtopic.php?p=20547367#p20547367

I haven't had any problems. I'm a little baffled by those complaints; surely something like that would come up in QA testing, especially considering the fact that you, y'know, hold the phone by the antenna, essentially.

In testing the 4gs were put into 3g cases, is the thought?

Maybe you should wait a little while after launch to buy new tech?  Seriously, I don't get why people don't wait three months.  What is the reason?

Because I was sick of having a sluggish, buggy phone that didn't work very well?

WWF sort of sucks because the scoring system is just off enough to prevent them from being sued, and Scrabble's system is great. I have the paid iPad version, which was five bucks. But I'm playing like seven games right now and I love it.

I also have Scrabble, which was ten frigging dollars (I have a word game problem), but the only over network play is via Facebook.

Hear hear, the 3G is aging tech for sure. I'm waiting for the white. Tired of black.
