Yeah I remember going into a Verizon store probably 4 years ago and the guy trying to sell me on a blackberry by slamming it on the floor a bunch of times.  I kinda wanted one just for the effort but got a free razr instead. 

Trying to decide if I should wait for the iPhone 4 to take its price drop and switch to ATT, or just get the HTC Incredible and stick with Verizon.

I remember there being a run of rugged ones for awhile, but I question the durability of Blackberries since mine was brought down by apparent pocket sweat.

is it good?  is that the one with ads?  I was debating between that and the official Scrabble one and some other ones, but they all seemed only so-so.

also, I am a bad Scrabble player, so I don't know if you want to play with me.

I haven't had any problems. I'm a little baffled by those complaints; surely something like that would come up in QA testing, especially considering the fact that you, y'know, hold the phone by the antenna, essentially.

WWF sort of sucks because the scoring system is just off enough to prevent them from being sued, and Scrabble's system is great. I have the paid iPad version, which was five bucks. But I'm playing like seven games right now and I love it.

I also have Scrabble, which was ten frigging dollars (I have a word game problem), but the only over network play is via Facebook.
